Left winger Michael is from Widnes, and has been at the club since he was 11 years old. He represented England in the Victory Shield in 2002 in a game against Wales, and was a regular member of Dave Shannon's u17 side in 2003/04. The change in the Academy set up the following season meant that many of the younger players at the club were unable to force their way into the u18 set up, but Michael's u16 side enjoyed great success. He's a skilful, quick winger with a great left foot, who will be a key player for John Owens' u18 side this season.
