DARREN POTTER PROFILE

 
 

Potter is a tall, elegant midfield player with a lot of ability on the ball.  He's a local lad, and went to Alsop High School, where the young Gerard Houllier once taught French all those years ago, but he has Irish roots and recently made his debut for the Irish under 16 side.  He is a former captain of the Liverpool Schools side, and was released by Everton at the end of last season.  Their loss could be Liverpool's gain.  Skilful, but not afraid to put his foot in, he looks a useful prospect.
