STEVEN McNULTY PROFILE

 
 

McNulty is a player who is making rapid progress through the ranks at the Academy.  He was a virtual ever-present for the under 17's last season, despite only being an under 16 player, and this season he has also featured regularly at under 19 level.  In fact, he's been outstanding in the under 19 games he's played, and he has also been rock solid in all he youth cup games this season.  There's no frills about Steven, he's just a big strong centre half who competes well and wins everything in the air.  He's comfortable enough in possession, but don't expect him to play many defence splitting passes. He's got a good understanding at the back with Jon Otsemobor, and he's one who could be worth keeping an eye on.  Was arguably the reds most consistent performer durting the FA Youth Cup run.
