Andy is a versatile lad, who can play in midfield or at right back. The first time I saw him was against Crewe in the 2000/01 season, where he had an excellent game at right back. He got stuck in, defended well and used the ball cleverly. The following game against Middlesboro though, he looked like a midfielder playing out of position, and had a hard time dealing with Boro's tricky left winger. An honest lad, who works hard for the side.
