DAVID MANNIX PROFILE

 

Winsford lad David is an exceptional talent, and played under 18 football for the reds two years ago in the FA Youth Cup, despite only being 15 years old.  He was a regular in the under 17 side, and is a player who the club have very high hopes for. He was handed his reserve team debut at the age of 15, but has been ruled out until next season with a serious knee injury. 'Manno' is a very elegant central midfield player, with vision, two good feet and a wide range of passing.  The mark of a good player is that they always seem to have time on the ball, and Mannix falls into that category.  Definitely a name to look out for in the coming years if he can put his injury problems behind him.
