ROBBIE FOY PROFILE

 

 

Robbie is a winger in the traditional Scottish mould.  The Jocks have a reputation for producing tricky, skilful wingers, and Robbie certainly falls into that category.  He's two footed, very direct and loves to run with the ball.  He's also quick and brave, and has now moved from his home in Scotland to attend the Academy full time. He played for Scotland in the Victory Shield tournament 2 years ago, and was a regular with the under 17's last year.  He made his reserve team debut at the age of 16 when he appeared as a substitute in the mini derby against the blues at Widnes, and will be looking to force his way into the u19 side at some point this season. Bags of skill, and a real joy to watch. Looks to have a big future ahead of him.
