Formerly with Tranmere, Adam is from Halewood and has been at the Academy since he was 14.
An old fashioned centre half, Adam has a good partnership at the heart of the defence with Mark Roberts.
A strong, tough tackling defender, he played seven times for Dave Shannon's side last year, scoring one goal. Always a threat from set pices, Adam didn't take long to get off the mark this season, powering in a header against Wolves in the third game of the campaign.
