Calum is a talented boy from Walton, who was introduced to the u17 side midway through last season.

Dave Shannon described him as "a very, very late developer who could actually play in our under 14 side and not look out of place. We have gradually nursed him along and got to a situation now where he is aware of his strengths and weaknesses."

He played mostly on the left wing, and caught the eye with some promising displays, and scored his first goal at u17 level in an impressive 3-0 win over Derby at the Academy.

Versatile and two footed, this season Calum has played at right back as well as in his more accustomed role on the left of midfield.
